Welcome, I’m Dana Bamshad
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT LEADER & INDUSTRY MENTOR
Each day, millions of people continue to use products I’ve helped build in both their personal and professional lives.
Throughout my career, I’ve built and led high-performing teams to develop innovative products—from concept to broad adoption. I bring deep expertise across consumer tech and B2B SaaS, with experience in regulated industries like finance, government, and healthcare, as well as consumer brands and the entertainment sector.
I’ve led product strategy and built applications for Fortune 100 companies, including DocuSign, Airbnb, Starbucks, Microsoft, and T-Mobile. My strength lies in turning early-stage ideas into market-ready products that delight users—driven by curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
I take a customer-first, empathy-driven approach to define user needs and solve problems while delivering innovation. To enable this, I foster collaboration and empower teams to contribute their strengths. My toolkit includes design thinking, tailored agile practices, automation, and emerging technologies like generative AI.
HELLO THERE!
Beyond my passion for technology and innovation, I’m a creative at heart and an enthusiastic hobbyist. When I’m not exploring Seattle with my daughter, Marlowe Xela, I’m often immersed in music, art, or design.
I’m an avid record collector and host monthly hifi listening sessions at Shibuya Hifi in Ballard. Music is central to my life—I volunteer with the record label Underground Sun and play tambourine in the Summit Series jam band “Pizza-Jam,” performing at flagship events.
I’m also a potter and jewelry entrepreneur. As a member of Vortex Pottery, I continue to hone my craft. Recently, I re-launched my father’s Sterling Silver Christmas Ornament line, Baron Heritage Collection. I also curate, repair, and resell vintage and fine jewelry under the Baroness Collection, available both locally and on Etsy.
